Professional photography will be provided by E-lluminations throughout Commencement Day on Saturday, May 17. Each graduate will be photographed candidly as they walk across the stage and again in a posed moment with their diploma after exiting the stage. To ensure a smooth experience for all attendees and maintain security on the field, family members and guests will not be permitted to approach the stage for photographs. The best vantage points for capturing photos are the field seating areas, which tend to fill up quickly.
Photography at Friday Events
Photography will also be available at key events on Friday, including the Baccalaureate & Awards Ceremony, Doctoral Hooding, and Nurse Pinning Ceremony. After the ceremonies, photos from these events will be made available to participants through their respective programs.
General Photography Guidelines
Many students look to capture graduation portraits throughout campus with their cap and gown prior to the ceremony. We encourage students to do so and to share their achievements far and wide! Graduates and photographers should ensure that any photoshoot does not disrupt campus activities. Photos in front of the fountain at Tupper Manor are only permitted when there is not an active event on site—typically before noon on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and any time Monday through Thursday. Please be respectful.
