What was your internship & what were your primary responsibilities?
My internship was at HireClix, a marketing recruitment agency in Gloucester, Mass. I was assigned different clients to work with and assisted each client team with day-to-day tasks such as market research, campaign updates, and reporting.
How did your internship relate to your major or career goals?
I was unsure what area of marketing I wanted to pursue. After experiencing working in a marketing agency, I realized I enjoyed the variety and fast-paced environment.
Can you describe a project you worked on during your internship that you found particularly challenging or rewarding?
One project I worked on during my internship was creating lightcast reports and hiring insights to send to our clients. These reports provided helpful information about specific industries they were hiring for, including typical salaries, the most popular job titles, and the companies within those industries.

What skills did you develop or improve during your internship?
I developed communication and teamwork skills and gained a better understanding of job board platforms like Indeed and social media platforms like Meta and Spotify.
How did your internship help you understand the industry or field you're interested in?
My internship helped me understand many aspects of marketing. I learned more about key marketing terms like CPA (cost per acquisition) and CPC (cost per click). I learned a lot of things in marketing courses here at Endicott, and I got to apply them in real life, which is why I loved doing this internship so much.
Did your internship help you confirm or reassess your career path or aspirations?
Yes, it did! I still have a love and passion for marketing and want to continue pursuing it.
How will this internship impact your future job prospects or academic pursuits?
My internship will impact my future job prospects in many ways because it helped me realize the type of work and company I enjoy.
