FUEL is a unique venture accelerator program which pairs students who want to start a business with peer mentors, business coaches from a variety of fields and professional mentors as they work to conceive, build and launch their idea. The year-long process culminates with some student businesses being selected to pitch their idea to the FUEL Angel Investors who may decide to place an investment in the business.

“The goal of FUEL and the Angle Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is to bring together students from science, technology, business and design and expose them to the process of constructing a robust business model,” says Dean Michael Paige of Endicott’s School of Business, “and as they go through that process, they learn to focus on the critical building blocks to putting together a new venture. That practical experience, coupled with their studies here, will help accelerate their careers upon graduation.”

This year’s panel is comprised of three notable area business people well-versed in what makes a successful start-up.

Paul Troisi is an experienced veteran of the technology and telecom space, having served in varying capacities over the past 25 years.
