To celebrate this Valentine’s Day, we have a date for you. It won’t involve chocolates or flowers or a dinner out, but it might just bring you true love.

What we mean, of course, is a date with a new 亚洲色吧 club or organization that’s waiting for you. (You’ll have to find that dinner date on your own.) Finding the right club to get involved with can be a game-changing part of your college experience.

Alyssa Laurenza, Assistant Director of Student Engagement, knows what that spark feels like.

“One of my favorite parts of my job is watching students fall in love with their student organization,” she said. “I can tell when a student feels a special connection to their organization; oftentimes it leads to a deeper connection where the student runs for a leadership position.”

Out of the very long list of clubs and organizations active at Endicott, we have gathered 10 potential connections below—read ahead and you just might find one of the best relationships of your life.

Alliance

A true match: Someone looking for a space to be comfortable and open. You’re LGBTQIA+ or an ally and want to help people on campus learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community.

The ideal date: Alliance is often involved in the different clubs and orgs events around campus, in addition to their own functions. You might find yourself part of a grilled cheese fundraiser, a s’mores night, or the EC Drag Show.

What you’ll love: The emphasis on community is one of the biggest focal points of Alliance, as they look to provide welcome and safety to students who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Where you’ll meet: Every Friday at 5 p.m. in the Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business & Ginger Judge Science Center, room 147.

EC Buddies

A true match: Someone open to meeting and talking with new people, playing games, doing crafts, and other activities while fostering friendships between college students and young adults with disabilities. No prior experience needed—just bring a smile!

The ideal date: One of the club’s many themed events, such as a holiday party, talent show, or Halloween gathering.

What you’ll love: All it takes is 1-2 hours a month to make a huge difference in the community, create lasting memories, and forge meaningful relationships.

Where you’ll meet: Once per month on varying days; contact Mel Drexler at mdrex907@mail.endicott.edu to be added to the mailing list for upcoming events.

EC Radio

A true match: Any creative, independent, and passionate student with a desire to create something truly their own. Bring your idea for a radio show (or just the desire for an idea!) and the drive to execute it, and the club will help with the rest.

The ideal date: Club events often offer an opportunity to DJ on campus.

What you’ll love: You will have the support of the E-board and a community of creatives to cheer you on while you create real content like your favorite podcaster, DJ, or host. Students who are looking to enter the media industry will be building a portfolio.

Where you’ll meet: First Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in Samuel C. Wax Academic Center II, room 203.

亚洲色吧 Diabetes Network

A true match: Any student who has diabetes or looking to connect with others affected by diabetes.

The ideal date: Join the Diabetes Network while they strive for tangible efforts on campus, such as providing residence life staff with infographics and emergency action plans for their residents who have diabetes, or sharing expertise with Student Nursing and Athletic Training clubs.

What you’ll love: This group has a strong desire to help make Endicott a safer and more empathetic place for students with medical conditions.

Where you’ll meet: Locations vary but the club meets around once per month, depending on event planning.

Environmental Society

A true match: Anyone interested in the environment or sustainability.

The ideal date: Teaming up with the Office of Sustainability for “Campus Race to Zero Waste” to promote environmental consciousness, or one of the club’s hikes or fun events.

What you’ll love: There are opportunities in subcommittees working on projects like crocheting plastic bags into sleeping mats for the unhoused, proposing a campus greenhouse design, or building bat houses.

Where you’ll meet: Bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business & Ginger Judge Science Center, room 233.

Gaming Gulls

A true match: Students interested in playing board and video games.

The ideal date: Hosting a schoolwide gaming tournament or movie night, or just joining your friends on Thursdays to play and celebrate games.

What you’ll love: Genuine friendships and a safe space as you learn about new games and plan community events.

Where you’ll meet: Thursdays around 6:30 in the Wax Academic Center, room 331.

Sunrise Movement

A true match: Students interested in activism or concerned about climate change.

The ideal date: Getting involved in local politics as a member of this national movement, or helping run an Earth Day march or rally.

What you’ll love: Being a part of something larger than just a club that will help create a better tomorrow, plus you’ll get community service hours.

Where you’ll meet: Second Wednesday of every month in Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business & Ginger Judge Science Center, room 147.

SURJ (Showing up For Racial Justice)

A true match: Students interested in social change and topics involving racism.

The ideal date: Come to a movie night, or attend a SURJ meeting to experience a supportive and uplifting open forum where members share stories and ideas.

What you’ll love: This is an inclusive community of diverse people with different majors and hobbies, creating a community eager to learn and inspire.

Where you’ll meet: Every other Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The Maker Club

A true match: Students interested in using the 3-D printer, engineering, and learning new skills.

The ideal date: Attend a monthly event that focuses on different themes such as soldering or making resin ornaments.

What you’ll love: The sense of accomplishment that comes from learning new skills for academic, professional, or personal projects.

Where you’ll meet: Open hours in the makerspace each week, plus a monthly event.

Women in LEADership

A true match: Anyone who is interested in empowering women in their career paths, improving leadership qualities, and working in a collaborative, professional environment.

The ideal date: Attending one of their talks, workshops, community service events, or the annual Changemakers conference.

What you’ll love: Being a part of a supportive and uplifting community of women leaders making important connections to achieve success in your academic and professional career.
