The Van Loan School at 亚洲色吧 will hold its second standalone commencement ceremony on Thursday May 17 at 6:00 p.m. in the Hempstead Stadium on the Endicott campus in Beverly, Mass. Over 330 students are expected to participate, of the 425 eligible for graduation.

The Van Loan School commencement will celebrate adult education students who are graduating with associate’s, bachelors, master’s and doctoral degrees, having participated in traditional, online and blended classroom programs. The School will be awarding degrees to 14 doctoral students, including five members of the first graduating class of the Ph.D. in Nursing program.

“Our Ph.D. in Nursing graduates really represent what we were hoping to achieve when we started this program,” said Kelly Fisher, Dean of the School of Nursing. “They worked full time while also getting their degrees – enjoying classroom time with others eager to learn the same concepts, but also making use of asynchronous online work on their own schedule. I’m so proud of what they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what is upcoming in this program.”

Additionally, five of the twelve graduating students from the College’s Bermuda campus will be traveling to Beverly to celebrate with their classmates.

“The Van Loan School is proud to be an integral part of the higher education and economic landscape on the north shore,” said Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Mary Huegel. “Our graduates are making a difference in their workplaces and communities, and we’re excited to celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our Class of 2018 and see what comes next for them.”

Speaking at the ceremony will be , a distinguished urologic surgeon at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, assistant clinical professor of urology at Tufts Medical School, and creator of the book series - science-based children’s books featuring a positive girl superhero aimed at sharing empowering messages and exposing young children to STEM role models.

Dr. Keith D. Miller, a distinguished administrator serving for many years in overseas education and operations in the U.S. State Department, will receive an honorary degree at the ceremony and address the graduates.

Admission to the commencement ceremony is by invitation only. For more information, please call 978-232-2199 or visit vanloan.endicott.edu.
