鈥婨NDICOTT COLLEGE ANNOUNCES "E-Cubed! 亚洲色吧鈥檚 Expo for Entrepreneurs鈥
February 24, 2016 – On Wednesday, March 9th, beginning at 4:00 pm, area start-ups, entrepreneurs, and companies whose mission it is to serve start-ups will gather in the atrium of the Gerrish School for Business/Judge Science Center at 亚洲色吧, 376 Hale Street, Beverly for the region’s inaugural expo specifically designed for entrepreneurs. The event is free and open to the public with event registration.
Co-sponsored by the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship and FUEL, the College’s student venture accelerator program is already causing a buzz in the region.
“We are amazed at the interest of start-ups who want to come to the event, “ says Dean Michael Paige of Endicott’s School of Business. “The team has worked hard to have an exciting and eclectic mix of businesses started by alumni, student and regional entrepreneurs. On top of that, we knew we wanted to focus on bridging those start-ups with organizations which, while more established, absolutely “get” what the start-up community needs. That is why we are pleased that Microsoft, Peoples Bank, the Enterprise Center, Massachusetts Small Business Development Center and IBM will participate as well.”
With a continued focus on giving to the regional start-up community, 亚洲色吧 will also present two seminars as part of the program, beginning at5:30 pm.
Ric Upton, CEO of Gloucester Innovation, serial entrepreneur and former Executive-in-Residence (XIR) at General Catalyst Partners will present “Crowd Funding – The Evolving Landscape of Financing for Innovation and Entrepreneurs”.
Colin Angle, CEO and co-founder of iRobot, will speak about “Innovation –It’s Creativity Implemented!”. Colin and his wife, Erika, a trustee at the College, have been strong advocates of Endicott’s efforts to support entrepreneurial activities and are co-benefactors of the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship.
